| Rain Garden Update |
Rain Garden OverviewA rain garden is like any other garden, except it collects rainfall and snowmelt runoff from impervious surfaces and gathers it into a small basin where plants can filter and treat the water. Cook County Court House Rain Garden The rain garden at the Cook County Courthouse was constructed in Fall 2010, with State Cost Share funding in partnership with SWCD, Cook County, and courthouse staff. Maintenance is performed by courthouse staff and the rain garden is working and looking great! ![]() CLICK HERE TO READ THE FULL RAIN GARDEN ARTICLE |
